How to make coffee ice cream at home!

If coffee is a refreshing beverage for mornings, then coffee ice cream is a rich dessert for the evenings. Yes, those who love caffeine in coffee will undoubtedly adore caffeine in the coffee ice cream as well. Homemade coffee ice cream may not be ideal for waking up, but is full of creamy coffee deliciousness. Those who have no idea about coffee ice cream must give it a try.

Ice cream must be experimented using different flavors and one will be convinced using coffee flavor also. For a coffee and cocoa devotee, coffee ice cream will be an ideal dessert. Rich and pure coffee compliments well with vanilla ice cream in the coffee ice cream recipe.

For some, coffee can cause acidity, but a rich smooth and silk in mouth coffee ice cream made with balanced proportions of milk and cream will certainly make them happy and content. Churn out a tempting coffee ice cream by following these simple steps. This ice cream recipe is simple to make and
does not require an ice cream maker or eggs. You can add some Choco chips for the chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups milk

  • 1 tbsp corn flour

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1 ½ tbsp Rage Instant coffee powder

  • ž cup fresh cream

  • Âź tsp vanilla essence

How to make coffee ice cream:

Step 1: Mix well Rage instant coffee and 1 tablespoon of hot water and keep aside.

Step 2: Mix well the corn flour and ½ cup of milk and keep aside

Step 3: Combine the remaining 2 cups of milk and sugar in a deep pan on medium flame for 5-6 minutes, stirring continuously. Add the corn flour–milk mixture, mix well and cook on the medium flame for 4 minutes, while stirring continuously. Now add the coffee-water mix and stir well. Allow it to cool completely.

Step 4: Once it cools, add fresh cream and vanilla essence and mix well. Pour the mixture into a shallow container, cover it with aluminum foil and freeze for 6 hours or till it semi-sets. Remove from the fridge; beat the mixture till smooth in a blender. Now, Repeat Step 4 and now freeze till the ice cream sets for about 10 hours.
