How to brew a great pour over coffee at home

You wake up and you need that extra kick to start your day. This pour-over coffee is perfect for that. A pour-over cup of joe will give you that refreshing start with bright and aromatic notes to shine and slay your day. The best thing about this brewing method is you get a joyful cup of coffee in less than 5 mins. 

Things needed to make pour over coffee:

  • Rage Coffee’s ground coffee in pour over grind size

  • Coffee filter paper

  • 450 ml of hot water in a kettle

  • A pour-over brewer

  • Timer, to time the brewing

  • Spoon

  • Cups to serve

  • Ice, milk and sugar to taste

Steps on how to brew a flavorful cup of coffee:

Step 1: Place the filter paper in the pour over cone carefully. Rinse the filter paper with hot water. Doing so will eliminate any kind of paper flavoring and preheats the cone and pour-over brewer for the process.

Step 2: Add around 30 grams of Rage Coffee’s ground coffee in the filter paper.

Step 3: Pour 100 ml water on the grounds to saturate them. Then wait for 30 seconds to let the coffee bloom. Then add the rest of the 350 ml hot water in a spiral motion.

Step 4: Stir the coffee grounds a bit. Then let it sit and brew for about 2 mins 30 seconds.

Step 5: Your brew is ready to be served. You can have it all black or add milk according to your taste.
